Wooden Toy Factory
We have been making quality wooden toys in our factory for more than 40 years! Very importantly, we only use timber from managed plantations in Tasmania and New Zealand, in other words renewable resources.
We do offer guided tours of the facility, where we talk about the
timber and the various processes involved in making the toys. The tours
are aimed at school age kids, and school and OSHC groups are welcome to
book tours as part of the overall experience! The tours are offered
during the week only, and cost is $5 per child (teachers and supervisors
go for free).
In these pictures Graham is busy on the CNC machine and one of the routers. We sell most of the toys in either a raw kit form, or fully assembled and lacquered.
